Terms of use
The rules, in as few of them as possible.

Who you are dealing with
FILL: registered name, contactable at [email protected].
Your licence
You may use Cantle on devices you own or control, for yourself. You may not resell it, take it apart to rebuild it elsewhere, or use it to break the law or to spoil the game for other players.
Copies from the App Store are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which prevails over these terms wherever the two disagree.
Your account
An account is created on your device without an email address or a password. That has a consequence worth stating plainly: whoever holds the device holds the account, and if you lose the device without the account being linked anywhere, we have no way to prove it was yours.
Your display name appears on the daily leaderboard. Keep it something you would not mind other players seeing. We may change or remove a name that is abusive, impersonates someone, or is reported and found to break this rule.
FILL: the minimum age. Must match the privacy policy and both store age ratings.
Fair play
Leaderboards only mean something if the times on them are real. Modifying the app, automating play, or submitting results the game did not produce will get those results removed, and can get the account closed. We check submissions for this.
Purchases
Everything you buy is bought through Apple or Google. The price is shown before you confirm, and it varies by country and can change over time. Items in the game have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Consumers in the European Union
You normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract. Buying digital content that is delivered immediately means asking us to start straight away, and you accept that the right of withdrawal ends once delivery has begun. This does not touch your other statutory rights.
Disputes can be taken to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
Consumers in Ukraine
Your rights under the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection" apply in full and are not narrowed by anything here.
If the service stops
Cantle needs a server for leaderboards, friends and daily puzzles. We may change or discontinue parts of it.
FILL: say what happens to purchased content if the servers are shut down, and give notice period. Players read this clause more carefully than any other on the page — a vague answer here costs trust and shows up in reviews.
Liability
FILL: a limitation clause, reviewed by someone qualified. An over-broad one is void in the EU and can be treated as an unfair term, which is worse than a narrow one that holds.
Governing law
FILL: governing law and forum. A consumer in the EU keeps the protection of their own country's law whatever this clause says, so it must be drafted around that rather than against it.
